Cartwheel
Cartwheel
This painting has a feel of a child (or adult) playing. The green shape seems to suggest something off balance, like a cartwheel. The following poem by the artist, Susan Lackey, is the inspiration for this artwork.
Hands on the ground, feet in the air,
Do a cartwheel without a care.
If I tumble down,
Hard on the ground,
Mom and dad are there with hugs to share.
