Summer Sherbet
Summer Sherbet
You can count on sherbet to cool you down on a hot summer day. This painting represents what a landscape would look like if it was made of orange, lime, and blue Malibu sherbets. Wouldn’t you love to go there? The following poem by the artist, Susan Lackey, was inspired by this artwork.
Whether orange, or lime, or Malibu blue,
Nothing’s more de-lish, and so yummy too.
You can count on sherbet to cool you down
On a hot summer day. That’s what I’ve found.

The Nature’s Resonance Collection
These paintings were inspired by the visual features, the sound, and the movement that resonates in nature’s mountains, hills, and woodland walks. The colors, shapes, textures, and light of natural settings have been creatively abstracted to suggest the rhythms, the sounds, the movement that are seen and heard.
