Blues on the Rocks #2
Blues on the Rocks #2
For this little mountain scene, the artist chose a cool, blue/green color scheme to represent the quiet and serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Those mountains and the following poem by the artist, Susan Lackey, are both the inspiration for this artwork.
Cool and calm, blues on the rocks,
And a gentle mist all over the tops.
You have to love those blues and green.
What a peaceful scene, so serene.

The Nature’s Resonance Collection
These paintings were inspired by the visual features, the sound, and the movement that resonates in nature’s mountains, hills, and woodland walks. The colors, shapes, textures, and light of natural settings have been creatively abstracted to suggest the rhythms, the sounds, the movement that are seen and heard.
