Tide Line
Tide Line
If you have walked on the beach, you know there is a “debris line” where the high tide washes in shells and all kinds of things from the ocean. This painting captures that feeling of wonder, discovery, and beauty that you have when you see what’s there. The following poem by the artist, Susan Lackey, was inspired by this artwork.
High tide on the beach builds a line of debris.
And, oh what a beautiful thing to see.
Bits of shell and net,
And sea glass, you bet.
That feeling of wonder, and discovery for me.

The Nature’s Resonance Collection
These paintings were inspired by the visual features, the sound, and the movement that resonates in nature’s mountains, hills, and woodland walks. The colors, shapes, textures, and light of natural settings have been creatively abstracted to suggest the rhythms, the sounds, the movement that are seen and heard.
